Case Study : Typesetting services for RE/MAX, UK

  • Opportunity
RE/MAX is inundated with property information on a regular basis. As a good selling practice, it required all the real estate data to be formatted in a template which carried the property information in an organized manner and also retain the organization’s branding. The project required someone to set them in the standard templates and return it to their agents in record time along with a high level of accuracy. There were pre-set templates which required human editing and image re-touching.
  • About the Project
With RE/MAX’s large global network of agents, the typesetting project was commissioned with a full-time team. The pre-sales documentation typesetting work encouraged the company’s franchisees to put up real estate information on their sales desks within a few hours of receiving the information. This was made possible with the use of an offshore team for typesetting services.

Over a period of time, Pi also helped develop a new set of templates which could be used for different property types. An online system for collaborating with different offices was also developed during the lifetime of this project.

    About RE/MAX:

Our client is an international real estate company, with a global network of franchisee owned and operated offices. Their real estate franchise network provides residential, commercial, referral, relocation, and asset management services with more than 7,000 offices worldwide.
  • Solution
The Pi Business Research team set up a system by which we could finalize the data updation and formatting of hundreds of documents every day. Our Content, Research, Design and Quality Control teams were all involved in the process.

The information was checked by the researchers for missing information, when was then found out through secondary research and updated. The Content team checked for language errors, formatting issues and style consistency. The final product was released by the Design team, which was checked by Quality Control then and sent across to all the respective offices through email.
